Marie Olga Elisabeth Teresa Vera (born September 29, 1882 in Schloss Ort in Gmunden, Upper Austria, Aust ro-Hungary, died. Princess Alexandra was the third child of Ernest Augustus, Prince of Hanover (1845-1923), and his wife Thyry, Princess of Denmark (1853-1933), youngest daughter of Christian IX, King of Denmark (1818-1906), and Louise of Hesse-Kassel (1817 -- 1898).
